Help us CELEBRATE THE 70TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE FIRST AVIONS EVER MADE!
DATES: September 15-18, 2026 *This rally is purposely planned for mid week to save on costs and to allow attendees to build their own vacation days around before and after the rally days of Tues 2PM-Fri 11 AM
LOCATION: Sun Outdoors RV Resort, Pigeon Forge, TN

We have secured a whole section (back in’s on one side, pull throughs on the other side). This is a resort with 3 swimming pools, hot tub, dog wash station, RV/Truck wash station, several children’s play areas–all this and more plus — super close proximity to all that the Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Dollywood, The Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Blue Ridge Parkway and Shenandoah Valley (Shenandoah National Park) area has to offer. There is NO doubt many attendees will have no trouble building a whole vacation around the rally dates! I know we plan to!

WHO: This event registration will be open to all owners of Avion’s including trailers, truck campers, motorhomes and Cayo RVs.
WHAT: We have reserved a block of 24 sites to host this national level rally! We will have a covered pavilion( with ceiling fans, stage and picnic tables), huge beautiful community firepit area, lawn for games all within steps of our Avion’s!

WHY: The last time a national Travelcade rally was held was in the early 2000’s but by then it had been homogenized to also include Fleetwood RVs and honestly, the feedback we have seen from attendees then said it just was not the same anymore when other RVs than Avion’s were allowed in. SO….we are keeping tried and true to the AVION (and Cayo) ONLY registrations have priority row sites. ALL ages, models, sizes and conditions of Avion’s are very welcomed to attend!
Just for fun, here is a brochure published back in the day about the very popular Travelcade rallies. It was not at all unusual to have over 100 to 300++ Avion’s at a single rally! They often held them at Fairgrounds and AIRPORTS! due to the size!
LET’S MAKE OUR FOREBEARERS PROUD AND HAVE A HUGE TURN OUT FOR OUR REBIRTH OF THE TRAVELCADE RALLY IN SEPTEMBER 2026!!! WE CAN DO IT!
*IF you wish to attend but cannot travel to TN with your Avion, or you have not purchased one yet or sold yours off but still love the brand please reach out to us, your Rally Hosts (pewterpalace87@gmail.com) for information on how you may be able to still attend and participate in the rally.
IMPORTANT NOTE: you CANNOT book a campsite at our reduced group rate or in our specially set aside site area without first registering with us for the event and paying your rally fees. The campground cannot/will not accept online reservations for our rally.
