We ordered these off Amazon after seeing a fellow YouTuber note how effective they were.

We originally thought we would only use them in winter to prevent heat loss through our plastic roof vent lids. But WOW, we tried them now in the summer, and we have seen a DRAMATIC INCREASE in how well they keep our cool AC air IN and the heat penetrative through our ceiling fans OUT!  (And we even have the full max air style hood shrouding the smoke colored plexiglass so we can use fans even in rain or open when rolling down the road over all 3 of our roof fans)

The beige/off white color we chose is a near PERFECT match to our original cream color ceiling of our 1987 Avion. They do come on white and perhaps 1 other color.

They are a little pricey, but the quality of the material, the craftsmanship and with the silver backing is exceptional. And they really work!!

They were easy to install and come with instructions. We ordered one for all 3 of our roof vent fan openings.

The one in our bedroom really has helped also in room darkening on sunny mornings or street lights beaming in.

But the REAL difference is in how much less heat is “bleeding” thru the roof vent covers into our rig during these very hot and humid days! We even have the full Maxair type roof covers in the smoke color over our fans- they block a lot but we really have seen even more effectiveness with these covers.  AND… our cold air from the AC is not absorbed up onto the plastic vent fan lid any longer. We absolutely can tell the difference inside on hot days.

These are gamechangers for us! We have been out west and in cooler and drier climates for the past 2 1/2 years and getting used to heat AND humidity as we travel back east now is tough!
