Hello! We are Kevin & Luise Sherman owners of a 1987 Avion travel trailer, model 32S.
We purchased our “forever” Avion (our 1st Avion was a 1973 purchased in 2016) in 2019. We began fulltime travels in our Avion in May 2023. The photo above was taken on our epic 2023 trip from NY to Alaska then down the West Coast of the USA- over 15K miles and 7 months.
both Kevin & Luise have been active in Camp Hosting as well as work camping positions for the national park service and local government campgrounds for portions of the year.
kevin retired in 2023 after 20 years of service working for the NYS Department of Transportation. He is an army veteran. Kevin sits in the driver seat on our journeys and always has his trusted “co-pilot” nutmeg (our adopted cavalier king charles spaniel) at his side.
Luise retired in 2021 after a 30+ year career in management of non-profit organizations including, event coordination, Marketing & office management. She was cEO of a large tourism-based chamber of commerce, convention & visitor bureau & a multi-county realtor association. she also ran their own businesses of a historic tour guide service & major public events consulting/marketing & hosting.
luise’s role in their RV life is to do all the trip planning & co-piloting (when Nutmeg lets her), webmaster/social media, making reservations, & planning for exciting and new things to see and do along our travels & during our camping stays.
